Mahindra Group, which is involved in businesses ranging from automobiles to IT, has announced its foray into Metaverse. This was announced by the chairman of the group Anand Mahindra. This 3D version of the internet, which provides a real-world virtual experience, is expected to change the way people work and interact online.
Mahindra released a video on Twitter that gave this information and explained how people can participate in the group’s perspective through it. He said in a tweet, “Join us in making an entry in Mahindra’s Metaverse. We believe that this is not just a believing world, but a way we can find solutions to make the real world a better place. Mahindra pointed out that Metaverse provides a real-world virtual experience where people can interact digitally. He also compared this concept with simplicity and said simplicity is not only in people’s minds but also in metaverses that can simplify life.

In this regard, the Mahindra group said in a press release that initially, Tech Mahindra will take advantage of the opportunities of metaverse by using various methods. These will include Metaverse-based car dealership DealerVerse and NFT marketplace Middlemist. Recently Mahindra & Mahindra made its debut in the non-fungible token (NFT) segment. The tokens associated with the company’s sports utility vehicle Thar will be released. For this, the help of Tech Mahindra, an IT company of the Mahindra Group, will be taken.
It is being said that equality in terms of the Internet from The Metaverse will reach a new level. Creators like the gaming industry are expected to have a big contribution in taking Metaverse forward. In NFT, the use of blockchain technology authenticates tokens of unique items that are connected to digital assets that can be reproduced. These can include art, music, in-game items, and videos. These can be traded online but they cannot be duplicated. International financial services company American Express is also set to foray into the Metaverse and NFT segments. For this, the company has applied for seven trademarks.
