Leading chipset maker MediaTek has launched its new flagship processor MediaTek Dimensity 9000. Dimensity 9000 will directly compete with Qualcomm’s flagship processor. Dimensity 9000 is the world’s first mobile chipset developed on a 4nm process. It has 10 core Arm Mali-G710 GPU and six 5th generation APU with support from Artificial Intelligence.

Dimensity 9000 is the world’s first mobile processor to support a 320-megapixel lens. With this processor, phones will be launched in the first quarter of 2022. The maximum speed of this processor is 3.05GHz. It also supports LPDDR5x 7500Mbps.

Dimensity is designed with 18-bit HDR-ISP with 9000 which allows recording HDR videos simultaneously with three cameras. This processor will save 4x battery as compared to the first version. It has ARM Mali-G710 graphics.

The processor will support a full HD Plus display with a 180Hz refresh rate. It has been accompanied by 16 standard technology for 5G. The speed of this processor on the 5G network will be up to 7Gbps. Connectivity is supported by Bluetooth 5.3, Wi-Fi 6E 2×2, Wireless Stereo Studio, and Beidou III-B1 C GNSS with Dimensity 9000.

MediaTek has introduced Filogic 130 and Filogic 130A processors for the internet of things (IoT) devices this week. Both these processors are supported by microprocessors (MCU), AI engines, Wi-Fi 6, and Bluetooth 5.2. These processors are accompanied by a Power Management Unit (PMU). Filogic 130A is an audio digital signal processor with which voice assistant can be easily connected.
