Motorola has launched Edge 2021, which is the successor of Motorola Edge, which was launched last year. Motorola has launched this smartphone in the US. Motorola is vying for launch, the Lenovo-owned company introduced the Moto Edge 20 series in the European and Indian markets a few days ago. Under the Edge 20 series, Motorola made Edge 20, Edge 20 Pro, and Edge 20 Lite official.

Motorola has skipped the curved screen display in the new Moto E 20. The smartphone now comes with flat screens with thin bezels around the corner. The display has a punch-hole cutout for the selfie camera. The company claims that the display of Moto Edge 2021 is 60 percent faster than the 2020 version of the smartphone.

Price and availability of Motorola Edge 2021

Moto Edge has been launched for $699 (approximately Rs 52,000) for single 8GB RAM + 256GB variant. The smartphone is available in single Nebula Blue. Moto Edge will also be launched in Canada in 2021, but there is no information on whether the smartphone will hit Indian markets or not.

Specifications of Motorola Edge 2021

Motorola Edge has a 6.8-inch full-HD+ LCD display with a resolution of 1,080×2,460 pixels and a high refresh rate of 144 Hz. The smartphone is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 778G SoC which has 8GB RAM and 256GB internal storage that can be expanded using a microSD card. Motorola Edge 2021 runs on 11 Android Out of the Box.

Motorola Edge 2021 has a triple camera setup at the back with a 108-megapixel primary sensor, an 8-megapixel ultra-wide sensor, and a 2-megapixel depth sensor. The front has a 32-megapixel camera for selfies.

The smartphone has a 5000mAh battery that supports 30W fast charging. The company claims that the smartphone can give up to two days of battery life once charged. Motorola Edge comes with support from 5G, Wi-Fi 6E, Bluetooth V5.2, GPS, NFC and USB Type-C port for connectivity.
